"Andy is an anti-authoritarian, free-thinking individual who has happily nailed his colours to the weirdness mast without being lost in its sea of ethereal fluffiness" - Dr Ben Sessa, psychedelic researcher

Acid Drops is a collection of essays, interviews, and articles by historian Andy Roberts, author of Albion Dreaming: A Popular History of LSD in Britain.

Historical articles on the banning of LSD in Britain and Welsh Psilocybin festivals are coupled with intimate interviews with such figures as LSD chemist Casey Hardison, Jeff Dexter, Andy Munro, and Liz Elliot. As well as being an extraordinary record of British psychedelic culture over the last sixty years, the book is a very frank account of the author's personal experiences of LSD and the world of the counterculture.

It includes a Foreword by MDMA researcher Dr Ben Sessa, and an Afterword by the occultist Julian Vayne.

Andy Roberts: Andy is a historian of Britain’s LSD psychedelic culture and author of Albion Dreaming: A Social History of LSD in Britain (Marshall Cavendish 2008, 2012). His other research interests include, listening to music, hill walking, beach combing, reading, landscapes and their mysteries, natural history and paranormal phenomena. Musically, he has been severely influenced and affected by the Grateful Dead and the Incredible String Band among a host of others. He first fell down the rabbit hole in 1972 and has been exploring the labyrinth of passages ever since. His views on the psychedelic experience are (basically) – You take a psychedelic and you get high. What happens after that is largely the result of dosage, set and setting.
